Major Consulting Firm in Boston needs an Operations Analyst to join the team that performs due diligence reviews of Hedge Funds for their Investment Management [buy-side] clients.
Responsibilities include conducting on-site review visits of Hedge Funds ; writing operational assessments of their capabilities and the adequacy of their systems and controls; as well as evaluating their external service providers such as software vendors, prime brokers, administrators, and auditors. Some domestic and foreign travel is required. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Operations at a Hedge Fund or Investment Management company with exposure to a wide variety of financial instruments. Accounting or Business Risk Management experience is a plus.
